The Truth Is

Sprinkling some thrashy metal angst with a bit of glitter

From Dævvskævv's eccentric musical universe comes yet another release that feels a bit out of left field. This new EP replaces the 80s-inspired, synth-heavy, electronic, darkwave sound of the previous release(s), with a merger of some sort of progressive thrash metal and sugary pop. With a relentless tempo, catchy yet intricate melodies, and cleverly concealed polyrhythms, this concept EP unfolds across three connected tracks. Dævvskævv weaves a sonic tapestry that connects each piece both musically and thematically, transcending even the most towering genre boundaries - proving that shorter EPs are no exception to their artistic vision.
