Between the Chapters
On September 9, 2026, the Omit Doom Metal trio trio returns with "Interlude". A single release in the space between stories.
"Interlude" is a largely instrumental track that is meant to serve as an actual interlude between the trilogy of albums that has been released by Omit in the past (Repose, Medusa Truth Part 1 and Medusa Truth Part Two), and future releases.
The track represents a bit of a musical departure from the style of the previous albums, being more progressive and orchestral, with no lyrics and no defined lead vocals as such. Cecile Langlie's vocals are prominently featured, but more as texture and tapestry in the shape of larger choir harmonies, blending in beautifully with the rest of the arrangements.
It is a departure, yet the sound is unmistakably Omit. Releasing worldwide to all streaming and download services.

If you've been following this project, you know the drill: there is absolutely no blueprint here. One minute you're in avant-garde territory, the next you're headbanging to something that shouldn't work but somehow does.
The new single is titled "Deliciousness & Time That Extends Faintly" and yes, that name is exactly as gloriously strange as everything else Dævvskævv does.

More Nasty Avocado has been released!
Dive into "Pieces" by Nasty Avocado, where sweet pop meets a dash of darkness. Dævvskævv's fourth release this year comes in the shape of the single サーファー (Surfer). This track is a J-pop-inspired, wet ride through the emotional tides of life, the deep seas, the shallow shores (of pop music in general), the crashing waves and the ups and downs of love and longing, all while riding a tsunami of sadness.

It doesn't keep this EP from being a very catchy piece of electronic pop, no matter how you look at it, driven by its catchy beats and rhythmic, sampled vocals.
